So, I really like food... And in Leeds there seems to be a whole bunch of really nice places to go get food. So I suggest that on a semi-regular basis, we all go get food!
I'm going to suggest the first Wednesday of every month (because most people will have been fairly freshly paid, and I'm usually allowed out to play on a Wednesday) for a foody get-together.
Since the first Wednesday was yesterday, that gives 7th May as an official start date, and despite what I just said about all the lovely foody places in Leeds, I'm also going to suggest Bradford as a starting point because I was discussing the value of a god curry with miss teapartybeauty and now I really want one and aint no place better than bradders to get one!
Thoughts~?

Woohoo! It's still a little while off so plenty of time to work out details of what time people can get there etc - if there's anything in particular that will or won't work for you just let us know and we'll try to work something out to suit everyone! We need to pick a place too for this first one, we're kinda spoilt for choice! There's plenty within walking distance of train station for anyone coming in that way

Omars in Bradford is the best curry, I've found! It's a walkable distance from the train station too!
I lived in Bradford for 4 years and it is the best best best.
What time are you thinking?
I work in Bradford so could request an early shift and meet you there if you are planning on 6 or after.
I can also give lifts to anyone on the way back to Leeds.

Sounds good. Time wise how does everyone feel about 7? Is that alright to give people time to get back from work & back out again? I'm not going to have my car all the time now, cos t'other halfs has died this weekend so I'm going to be sharing, so anywhere nr a train station is great xx

I'll request to finish at 6pm if it's 7. I won't be able to confirm until the fridayish before as they never put the rotas up on time =(
It's walkable distance from Bradford Interchange. And Foster Square station. But closer to interchange.

Leeds? SO MANY PLACES. I would love to try anywhere that does a good tapas? Is everyone up for that? A few places to pick from: Ambiente: www.ambiente-tapas.co.ukEl Bareto: www.elbareto.co.ukDistrikt: www.distrikt.co.ukI wouldn't recommend Dos Amigos (heard terrible things), and Viva Cuba is good, but then it can be naff as well - very hit and miss (wouldn't want to be responsible for a crap tea!).
