Live at Leeds fest returns on Sat 3rd May. loads of amazing bands playing at different venues round the city (The Brudenell, Leeds Met, Cockpit, Academy, Leeds Uni, the Faversham, Belgrave music hall, nation of shopkeepers etc). £25 a day ticket. Starts at 12. I'll be going after 3 when the super duper Blogger Meet finishes. Noooooo, wrong!
Anyone else going or fancy it? Highlights for me are The Amazing Snakeheads, Pulled Apart By Horses, and Blood Red Shoes & DZ Deathrays (though those two are on the Friday night at Cockpit). we'll be reviewing it for Plus One Magazine too. Let me know if you're going!

DUHHHHHH. Soz. I have definitely lost my mind. It's in my diary, my calendar and my email as the 31st, so have no idea why I decided it was the same weekend (oh god!).
Yes. PABH be rocking the Brudenell - headlining the day. I'm definitely down the front for that, shouting (friendly) abuse at Tom and Rob.
You should definitely come. It's going to be so good this year! x

Oooh let me know. It's gonna be a great gig. DZ Deathrays are supporting them, and they are so good, you wouldn't know there was just two of them as well!
Check them out: xx

Is there a link to the full line up? I went last year and the smaller bands were the best. Ended up seeing TSU at Brudenell and LOVED THEM.

Yeah, the smaller bands are always the way forward. Lineup at the brude from about 6pm is stellar, that's where I'll be on the sat! www.liveatleeds.com/schedule/Lineup is at the link above, but it doesn't load well on mobiles - there's a link to a PDF version at the bottom of the page. Oh and I'm gonna do a preview blog post, so you could just wash for that this week and then you don't need to decide who to see, cos I'll lay it out for you haha

Also starting drinking at 11am wasn't my best idea ever. Still made it to 3am though. Yay me. Just had a look and I would be wanting: Happy Daggers, Munich, THE MEXANINES (love these, his voice is amazing), Lola Colt or Little Matador, Los Campesions (because I always bloody miss them when they are in Leeds, never managed to see them - sad face), TSU (amzing band live have you seen them?), The PABH although I would be in the back away from the mosh pit haha Some just based on names, this worked well for me last year haha. Highlights were def The Sunshine Underground, Toucmaca and King Krule. x
