Hi all,
Just a little post about an event I'm organising with
Betty Magazine. Betty are an independent magazine based in London and they've managed to gain worldwide distribution with just a few issues. The magazine is really lovely and focused on sharing the things they like. They say that Betty is your new best friend and I can't help but agree.
I've been speaking to them for a few months about visiting Leeds and luckily they were not only up for coming to the city to give a talk but to launch the new issue here too. Both the talk and the launch are next month on 11th June and the talk is from 5.30pm and is payable whilst the launch is free and from 7pm.
The talk costs £12 and includes a copy of the latest issue being launched that evening (the magazine is £6 on its own), a glass of prosecco and some cake from Leeds independent
Noisette Bakehouse (they're one of the regulars at the monthly Belgrave Street Food Fest).
A free cocktail will be available on arrival to the launch, there'll be cakes on sale from Noisette Bakehouse, a pop up bar from
The Grub and Grog Shop and music from Steph Pullen who DJs at clubnights Heavy Soul (The Cockpit) and NastyGurl (Milos).
